It’s the most fun way of throwing objects in the air. Passing is when you juggle and throw theses objects to other people. It is a speciality that I particularly like, especially when I can juggle clubs and try new ways of throwing them.
I really enjoy all kinds of passing (siteswaps, numbers, scrambles…) but my favorites are the mini’s or Prechacs (more or less equivalent to side by side juggling) and the ones that require you to move around while juggling.
I would love one day to combine them with dancing.
I taught passing a lot at festivals in Australia (like the Tasmanian circus festival and the Mullumbimby circus fest in Brisbane in 2013) or in New-Caledonia after having organised the Australian passing convention. It is a social and sharing art with infinite possibilities which requires a lot of patience, a certain taste and comprehension of mathematics (yes, yes it is linked!) and a touch of folly, like in most circus disciplines...
